What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Supervisor/Officer position at Mercurial Security Solutions LLC?
Responsibilities:
- To manage security staff, scheduling, reports
- To ensure a safe environment
- To make general safety inspections
- To maintain logs, incident reports and other records on a as-needed basis if and when incidents arise
- To document all discrepancies and breaches in security and other concerns
- To respond quickly to medical alarms, fire alarms calls, calls for assistance etc.
- To prevent, detect and appropriately control incidents of criminal activity
- To contact the appropriate law enforcement or emergency personnel, when necessary
- Patrol
Required work experience, skills and education:
- Staff Supervisory experience
- Drivers license
- Education: High School Diploma
- Ability to obtain other contract specific licenses
- Needs to be able to read, write and speak English
- Ability to write reports
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Possess basic computer skills
- Must be able to observe, walk, stand, sit, bicycle for extended periods of time in various weather conditions; run, climb stairs, and carry fire extinguishers or other emergency equipment; help restrain or lift a person; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; frequently required to use hands, handle or feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus; self- motivation and ability to work independent of immediate supervision
