Merchant Row just launched a brand-new Wilmington location and we are searching for one Sales and Marketing Management Trainee who wants to be part of building this market from the ground up. This is an immediate start role designed for early-career talent or individuals looking to pivot into a professional sales and marketing career with real long-term upside.
You will be directly mentored by one of our directors through a personalised, structured training program built around leadership development and campaign management. The goal is simple: develop future market leaders who can eventually oversee a client campaign, build and manage a large team, and run the operations of an entire market.
The training syllabus covers three core areas:
• Corporate sales and marketing
• Leadership and team management
• Business and operational management
The pace is fast. For the right person (someone above average in drive, focus, and coachability) the program is typically completed within six months. This role is for someone who can lock in, stay disciplined, and treat the next six months as the launchpad for their career.
What You Will Do
• Learn B2B sales and marketing through face-to-face client engagement
• Build leadership skills by contributing to the foundation of a brand-new market
• Gain operational experience in campaign management, planning, and execution
• Work directly with directors driving our expansion across the Northeast and beyond
• Play a key role in shaping Wilmington’s culture, standards, and long-term trajectory
