Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, and trustworthy Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support a busy executive.
This role offers the flexibility of both time scheduling and remote/on-site work environment. This position will expose you to a range of business functions, company employees, vendors and project needs.
You will need to possess strong Microsoft office skills that will be used to assist our team with using the systems more thoroughly in their positions. We will need your support in calendaring, improving email spam control and elevating accessibility of company information.
Your time management skills will be needed when managing a few projects on your own which will range from simple appointment setting to more advanced implementation of company goals as your knowledge of our system use expands.
We will require a background check as you will be exposed to important matters at a high level which will require confidentiality. Your resume will support your increased levels of trust with confidential information.
- Assist the President with email integration, communication flow and task tracking.
- Provide occasional "refreshers" and training for Office use in Word, Excel or Teams for staff.
- Utilize time tracking for payroll reporting.
- Fulfill project requirements according to time and quality constraints.
Applicant Requirements:
- GED required, Associate degree or Bachelor Degree a plus.
- Working knowledge of the use of office level computing and printing operations.
- A minimum of 5 years of extensive use of Word, Excel and Teams.
- A demonstrated aptitude for performing light training on Office software.
- Availability on first shift between 8-5 weekdays as scheduled.
- Prior experience arranging contractor estimates a plus.
- Demonstrated responsibility and accountability when working with confidential information.
- Access to a home computer system, phone and internet system with capacity to respond to and distribute email and files quickly.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
