What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millwright position at Mercer Landmark Inc?
Mercer Landmark is in search of a Full Time Millwright for our facility in Rockford, Ohio, offering very competitive wages. This individual would be part of a team doing work for all Mercer Landmark facilities. Pay is $28-$38 an hour based on experience.
Millwright Job Duties:
- Perform all preventative work orders as assigned
- Complete unscheduled maintenance and projects as assigned.
- Perform basic electrical trouble shooting
- Perform basic mechanical trouble shooting
- Light to moderate fabrication as needed.
- Conduct all work activities in compliance with the company safety and environmental standards and programs.
Millwright Qualifications:
- Prior Industrial Maintenance/Millwright experience required (five years’ experience preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required (secondary education preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of the proper techniques to maintain industrial equipment
- Proficient with critical thinking, logical problem-solving skills and root cause analysis.
- Experienced and knowledgeable with mechanical equipment trouble shooting and repair
- Strong coaching and communication skills, the ability to manage time and workloads effectively
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
