Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent; specialized business and/or banking education and training; ability to receive and maintain NMLS certification.
Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, analytical and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; moderate PC skills; comprehensive knowledge of bank consumer products, services and loans; knowledge of branch policies and procedures; minimal lending authority; supervisory skills sufficient to manage a small group of employees; technical skills to assist in training Tellers and Universal Bankers; visual and auditory skills.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ customer service experience normally required; three (3) to five (5) years’ consumer/retail banking experience preferred.
Responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in various aspects of Branch operations; participating with the Branch Manager in establishing specific goals for the office; determining work procedures and expediting work flow; ensuring compliance with all operating policies and procedures; communicating with appropriate personnel; providing periodic reports.
