Civil Service Commission Requirements: (Education/Experience/License)

Job Description: Under close supervision, assists with the more routine work involved in varied personnel transactions, and conducts field investigations of procedures, complaints, grievances, and other personnel matters; provides the above services to the general population as well as to that portion of the population; does related work as required.

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree.

Experience: One (1) experience in a Human Resources role preferred.

License: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.

Note: Applicants who do not meet the above education requirement may substitute experience in personnel work which shall have included position classification, compensation, benefits administration, testing, interviewing, and/or related activities on a year for year basis.

Special Note: (Preferred Applicant): Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform duties of this position. Appointments may be made to positions requiring bilingual skills.
