Job Overview
The incumbent is responsible for implementing, supporting, maintaining and enhancing SAP financial applications. Ensure the correct functionality of these systems. Provide value added to the business, act as a liaison between the business and technical team.
Provide production support of Business Process enhancements and interfaces to/from the SAP applications and other add-ons and Finance systems. Design and perform testing to ensure systems work as expected. Work closely with functional teams, technical team and business users to design and implement solutions that are flexible, scalable, and reusable while meeting the business needs in timely manner. Should be conversant with the testing aspects of a multi-client and multi-SAP system set up including regression testing for different business units.

Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements, formulate use cases, participate in solution design.
- Participate in project communications, training materials, and business procedures/documentation.
- Communicating with business users for better understanding of the requirements and translating it to the technical team.
- Create and sustain a team culture that fosters knowledge sharing, innovation, excellence and collaboration to specific ITS/NU Strategic Targets
- Assess ambiguous situations and provide clarity to ITS/NU leadership team and stakeholders as required
- Manage & translate the ITS/NU strategy into concrete deliverables and ensure they are carried out with speed, agility and stability.
- Design, lead & facilitate the VSDS shopfloor management meetings for Security & Governance and provide minutes & action management
- Cufic Solution is a central financial accounting and controlling template for the MBUSA.
- Job responsibilities include managing the complex technical/functional aspects of the system and provide critical support in system development and maintenance.
- Facilitate SAP project development with business, SAP and CoC resources in order to meet customer’s business requirements.
- Manage MBUSA specific projects and demands by closely collaborating with internal colleagues from vehicle & parts accounting, controlling, tax, purchasing and Sales Operations along with colleagues from FMB and FAO. Coordinate and assist with the implementation of MBUSA specific projects and interface activities.
- Support Non-production material purchasing functions, accounts payable functions and Sales Incentive and
- Support MBUSA specific audit reviews and audit findings remediation as required
- Support all duty drawback functional activities by working with other partner systems NACOS, cbFC, and SWT.
- Support Daimler North America corporation (MBNAC) month end and yearend financial close activities for US & Mexico.
- Define and implement industry best practices and Daimler standards into operational procedures and system operations.
- Suggests tools and processes needed to improve business processes.
- Help improve business process efficiencies, ensuring industry best practice and accuracy for all aspects related to application technologies specifically involved with Order to Cash and Procure to Pay end-to-end business processes.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (accredited school) AND relevant work experience in: Computer/Information Science, Information Technology, Finance & Controlling – SAP FICO, Sales & Distribution – SAP SD.
- Experience in Sales Incentive Management systems and business processes, Intelligent Automation & Machine Learning is desirable.
Must have 5 years (total) of experience in the following:
- Must have 5 years of experience as a SAP functional FICO supporting Financial accounting, order to Cash, Procure to Pay, with an excellent understanding of Financials and ability to resolve out-of-balance issues and fix any discrepancies between Logistics and Financial systems.
- Functional Expertise: Proficient SAP FICO knowledge and thorough with SAP SD/MM Customizations, Master Data, Procure to Pay Processes, SAP Reports, SAP ALE/EDI (IDOC) expertise, Fiori and preferably S4Hana experience.
- Strong SAP FICO knowledge (Finance & controlling); Knowledge of SD and MM integration with FI.
- Must be capable of working independently with all levels of people in the organization and have a high degree of multi-tasking capabilities.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in order to communicate solutions to business partners.
- Must be highly proficient in functional and technical design, testing and trouble-shooting techniques.
