In this specialized role, you will be the technical engine behind Merced College's Dreamscape Lab, using your expertise in Unity software to build simulations and interactive environments that transform abstract concepts into tangible experiences. We are seeking a candidate with strong development skills who can take a project from concept to deployment across various XR platforms, including Meta VR and spatial computing devices.Beyond development, you will be a key resource for the campus community, researching and piloting emerging XR applications to keep our curriculum on the cutting edge. You must be able to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues while collaborating with the Innovation Team to assess the educational impact of these tools.
