Job Summary
The preschool instructional assistant is under the direction of the preschool teacher, assists with the implementation and maintenance of a quality preschool program; assists in providing instruction to individuals or small groups of students; provides a safe and nurturing environment for the growth and development of children cared for in the preschool program; involves parents and families in student activities; monitors and reports students progress.
Requirements / Qualifications
*Transcripts verifying completion of 6 Units of ECE, Early Childhood Education, or Child Development MUST be included in order for your application to be given consideration.* IN ORDER FOR YOUR APPLICATION TO BE GIVEN FULL CONSIDERATION, application must be complete, including work experience and professional references. A separate resume is not acceptable in lieu of work experience and/or professional references. Candidate must pass the written test administered by District. Pre-employment physical examination, TB and fingerprint clearance required prior to beginning work. Spanish and Hmong bilingual encouraged to apply If your application is accepted to move forward with the testing process, you will be notified via email of the date and location of the exam.
