Join our growing property management team as a Property Management Assistant. In this role, you will help support the day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties by assisting with leasing, tenant communication, administrative tasks, maintenance coordination, and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities
- Assist with lease and rental agreement processes, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and consistent with company policies and applicable requirements.
- Coordinate leasing activities, including scheduling property showings, assisting with applicant screening, and supporting tenant onboarding.
- Maintain accurate property, tenant, maintenance, and correspondence records using property-management software.
- Support rent collection tracking, maintenance requests, tenant communications, and general office administration.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, owners, vendors, applicants, and team members by phone, email, and in person.
- Help coordinate maintenance schedules, vendor access, work orders, and follow-up to help keep properties well maintained.
- Assist with resolving resident questions and concerns in a timely, professional, and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling tenant, owner, applicant, and company information.
- Support the property management team with other administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management, real estate administration, leasing, or a related customer-service role is preferred.
- Experience with property management software, such as AppFolio, DoorLoop, or Buildium, is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, and Calendar.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills, including the ability to handle concerns and conflict professionally.
- Excellent organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology, including AI tools used to improve communication, organization, and workflow efficiency.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to providing a positive experience for residents, owners, and vendors.
