We are seeking a Psychiatric Technician to join our team in our Bethlehem, PA location.
Position Details
The Psychiatric Technician will:
- administer medication and therapeutic treatments, monitor for potential side effects and report
- provide care in a manner that considers the patient’s rights, safety, comfort and the overall therapeutic environment
- observe, document and report resident behavior
- monitor and document weights, blood pressure, pulse and respiration per MD orders and monthly for all residents
- communicate with co-workers and supervisors in a timely manner that affects patient care or well-being
- fill in resident charts
- assist in orientation and training of new staff members, understand, and implement Merakey policies and procedures
- order refills of medications,
- act as lead staff when the Administrator or Asst. Administrator is not available.
- complete all other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
Earn $16.25 per hour*
*An additional $2 per hour available with the selection of our Enhanced Pay Option.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Mental Health experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required
- We have Full time and PRN options available!
Full time shifts available:
3rd: 11pm to 7 am
1st: 7am-3pm
must be able to work a rotation of weekends and varied off days.
PRN needs:
weekends-all shifts
weekdays-3rd shift and some 2nd, 1st
Salary : $2 - $16
