Role: Outpatient Physical Therapist in a travel setting, providing therapy services within an acute hospital environment.
Responsibilities: Deliver outpatient physical therapy care, work in an acute trauma hospital, and manage orthopedic and neurologic patient populations, including post-op joint and spine surgeries, stroke, and spinal cord injuries. Ensure documentation using Epic EMR, participate in some Saturday shifts, and may float between facilities. Must work 40 hours/week, primarily days, with some holiday coverage.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 1 year recent PT experience, BLS certification, active Alaska or compact license, and Epic EMR proficiency required. Prior experience with orthopedic and neurologic cases preferred. Must have supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years. Candidates should be willing to work holidays and reside at least 50 miles from the facility for travel rates.
Key Duties: Provide outpatient therapy, maintain accurate charting, collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, and adapt to facility protocols. No on-call required, but some Saturday shifts are necessary.
