Job Title: General Surgery Physician
Role & Responsibilities: Provide locum tenens coverage in a hospital-based and office-clinic setting. Perform general surgical procedures, including chest wall/pleural surgeries, chest tube insertions, and vascular abdominal surgeries. Manage a Monday-Friday, 8a-5p schedule, ensuring patient care and procedural duties are met.
Qualifications & Skills: Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery, Basic Life Support certification, and licensure in Vermont. Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
Key Duties: Handle a variety of general surgical cases, coordinate with medical staff, and ensure adherence to credentialing requirements (90-120 days). Maintain high standards of patient care and procedural competence.
