Mammography Technologist - Radiology Diagnostic

Role Overview

The Mammography Technologist performs screening mammography procedures in a high-volume outpatient setting, ensuring high-quality imaging and compassionate patient interactions.

Responsibilities include conducting radiological procedures related to breast health, adhering to quality standards mandated by MQSA and the FDA, and potentially utilizing general radiography skills for diagnostic exams depending on the location.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening mammograms and related radiologic procedures.
• Provide caring and supportive interaction with patients throughout their breast health journey.
• Maintain compliance with quality control activities as per regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of a recognized radiologic technology training program.
• Registration with ARRT and valid radiologic technologist license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Registered in mammography within one year of hire (preferred to have 2 years of mammography experience).
• Experience with general radiography may be required depending on the location.
