Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support daily operations at our North Andover location. This role is essential in maintaining organization, client communication, and operational efficiency across the business.
This position will begin as an independent contractor role, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time positionfollowing successful performance evaluations.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate:As noted (commensurate with experience)
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position
- No benefits are provided at the contractor stage
- Opportunity for rate increase and/or full-time employment based on performance, reliability, and business needs
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Office Operations
- Open and close the office on all scheduled workdays
- Maintain organization of all client files, records, and documentation
- Prepare, send, and track contracts for signature and execution
- Assist with client onboarding and internal administrative workflows
Client Communication
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls and inquiries
- Respond to client communications in a professional and timely manner
- Support scheduling and coordination of consultations and walkthroughs
Marketing & Business Support
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns (email, social media coordination, outreach)
- Support content organization and brand initiatives as needed
Inventory & Office Management
- Maintain office inventory, including supplies and client-facing items (nourishments, materials, etc.)
- Place and track orders to ensure the office remains fully stocked
- Ensure the workspace is presentable, organized, and aligned with brand standards
General Support
- Assist leadership with operational tasks and special projects
- Perform additional duties as needed to support business growth
Qualifications & Experience
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years in administrative, office management, or operations roles
- Experience in hospitality, events, or a client-facing business is a strong plus
- Familiarity with contract management tools (e.g., DocuSign) and CRM systems
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Administration, Communications, Hospitality, or related field)
- Equivalent professional experience will also be considered
Work Environment & Expectations
- This is an in-person role based in North Andover, MA
- Must be dependable, punctual, and responsive
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business environment where processes may evolve
- Must be able to work on weekends & holidays as needed
Independent Contractor Terms
- This role is classified as a 1099 independent contractor position
- Contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and compliance obligations
- A signed Independent Contractor Agreement is required prior to start
- Role scope and performance will be evaluated for potential transition to a full-time employee (W-2) position
