MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the IT Support Specialist is to provide technology system administration, training, and support to all departments within Mentoring Alliance.
SCOPE
This is a class 40 exempt position. This position is full-time and averages at least 40 hours per week.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Administer Microsoft 365, provision user accounts and licenses, enforce security best practices, support adoption of standard collaboration tools
- Hardware & Software Support: Complete password resets, manage and document helpdesk tickets, respond to tickets in a timely manner, and escalate issues as needed.
- Device, Account Provisioning, & Documentation Excellence: Configure equipment, manage IT inventory, and install and update software for staff and program site devices.
- Technology Training, User Enablement, & Asset Management: Maintain concise and accurate training material, conduct basic introductory onboarding training for new employees, and provide short refresher trainings to core staff as needed.
- Rollout Processes & Tools: Assist with implementation of new systems, support with communication & documentation, monitor adoption of new technology, and partner with Operations leadership to standardize workflows
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience required, bachelor's preferred in Technology, Business Administration, or a related field of study
- Power-user in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Microsoft 365, and database management
- At least two years of professional system administration, analysis, and/or support experience
- Must possess excellent technology, professional organization, and written/oral communication skills
