Role Overview
We are seeking a Creative Program Manager to oversee the development and execution of creative initiatives across MAP.
This role ensures that creative ideas—whether in media, arts, storytelling, or campaigns—are translated into structured programs with clear systems, timelines, and outcomes.
This is a bridge role between creativity and execution.

Key Responsibilities
Program Design & Structure
- Translate creative concepts into structured programs and initiatives
- Define program scope, timelines, deliverables, and outcomes
- Ensure clarity and organization across all creative projects
- Oversee implementation of creative programs (media, arts, storytelling, campaigns)
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with expectations
- Maintain consistency and quality across outputs
- Work with PromiseLearning to align creative work with educational programming
- Collaborate with PromiseBrands on product and campaign integration
- Coordinate with PromiseVoice for messaging and storytelling alignment
- Support coordination across filmmakers, designers, writers, and producers
- Ensure all contributors are aligned and supported
- Track progress across multiple creative projects
- Build and maintain workflows for creative production
- Standardize processes for planning, execution, and delivery
- Improve efficiency and scalability of creative programs
- Track performance, engagement, and outcomes of creative programs
- Identify gaps and areas for improvement
- Refine programs based on feedback and results
- Maintain clear, timely communication across teams
- Coordinate work via Google Workspace and project systems
Required
- Experience in program management, creative production, or project coordination
- Strong organizational and systems-thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Alignment with MAP’s mission and dignity-centered values
- Experience in media, arts, or creative industries
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with production workflows or creative pipelines
- Interest in storytelling, design, or community-based creative work
- Volunteer role
- Approximately 5–10 hours per week
- Minimum 6-month commitment required
- Hybrid / remote with optional NYC-based collaboration
- Experience managing creative programs and initiatives
