Job Description:

Mental Wellness and Relationship Services (MWRS) is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient team in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

This role starts part-time with the option to build toward full-time based on client demand. Caseload growth typically occurs over 6 to 8 months. All follow-up visits integrate brief supportive psychotherapy (talk therapy techniques, rapport building, and coping skills support) alongside medication management.

Providers work on a hybrid schedule with at least one in-office day weekly; additional days can be worked remotely via telehealth.

This is a long-term position based in North Idaho. Although MWRS is expanding into Southern Idaho, this role does not involve relocation.

Responsibilities:

• Complete psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments
• Integrate brief supportive psychotherapy during all follow-up visits
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Document clinical work accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with therapists and community providers
• Manage your own scheduling calendar
• Use clinical tools including e-prescription services, charting templates, Genesite testing, and lab analysis
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance

Qualifications:

• Active PMHNP license in Idaho (Idaho and Washington preferred)
• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Minimum 1 year experience in psychiatric prescribing (2–3 years preferred)
• Ability to conduct telehealth sessions confidentially
• Experience using EHR systems
• Ability to work independently while collaborating as needed

Compensation:

• $120 per billable hour (includes charting time)
• $60/hour for required meetings (admin rate)
• $50 per cash-pay/private insurance cancellation or no-show
