Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a contract position in a hybrid work arrangement, based in Spokane, WA with some remote work options. The role involves providing mental health assessments, developing and overseeing individualized treatment plans, prescribing and managing psychiatric medications, and offering brief therapeutic interventions. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the practitioner will also ensure continuity of care and uphold high standards of patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Mental Health Nursing and proficiency in delivering Mental Health Care
• Experience in Psychiatric Care and treatment planning
• Credentials as a licensed Nurse Practitioner with specialization in psychiatry
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in nursing, including holistic care approaches
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Washington, with prescribing privileges
• Knowledge of virtual care platforms and technology for conducting remote consultations is a plus
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification preferred
