What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote Associate EMDR Therapists - $45/hour W2 position position at Mental Healthcare Careers?
Job Description
Rise Healing Center, a small group private practice that specializes in EMDR and trauma treatment, is looking for associate mental health therapists to join our team. We are looking to fill a hybrid role, where you can see people in the Santa Barbara office at least one day a week, as well as a commitment to seeing at least 20 clients a week. We are a practice that provides high-quality care grounded in an understanding of trauma, attachment, and relational healing.
At Rise Healing Center, we specialize in trauma treatment and EMDR. Our clinical work is also informed by parts work, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, somatic approaches, and other evidence-based modalities. We also provide couples therapy and therapy for teens, although the primary work available will be with adult individuals. We currently have a waitlist of clients and a steady stream of referrals to build your caseload.
We are especially interested in candidates who have completed EMDR basic training, although this is not required. For the right candidate, EMDR basic training and support toward EMDR Certification may be provided as a benefit of the position.
You'll join a supportive, collaborative team and receive high-quality clinical supervision as well as competitive pay and benefits. We are in-network with select insurance plans, including UC SHIP and CenCal, and you can expect a significant portion of your caseload to consist of UCSB students.
We are looking for clinicians who are compassionate, curious, collaborative, and committed to ongoing professional growth and providing exceptional care to their clients.
