Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Group Facilitator located in Newnan, GA. The Group Facilitator will be responsible for leading and facilitating group therapy sessions, developing therapy session plans, and ensuring a supportive and structured environment for participants. The role includes assessing the progress of group members, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and assess group member progress
- Knowledge of mental health and therapeutic techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of mental health professionals
- Pursuing a degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Previous experience in a mental health setting is beneficial
