What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Worker Van Driver position at Mental Health Center of North Central Alabama?
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Thursday: 7 AM - 3 PM
Friday: 7 AM - 1 PM
Responsibility:
- Van driver. (Examples of tasks: transport clients to and from Mental Health Center; maintenance of vehicles; servicing, taking for repairs, gas, completing all forms regarding trips per Department of Transportation regulations, etc.).
- Provide direct services to consumers in program. (Examples of tasks: plan and conduct classes on diet and nutrition; to include menu planning, cooking, grooming, hygiene, home management and budgeting; plan and conduct recreational activities; plan and coordinate guest speakers from the community; provide community resource information).
- Inspect, evaluate and keep maintenance up to date, per policy, on vans assigned to the Decatur Day Treatment Programs.
- Prepare or oversee preparation of snacks for Day Treatment Programs. Maintain organized and clean kitchen area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.50 - $13.94 per hour
