Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Mammography (within one year)
- State licensure as a Registered Radiologic Technologist in Florida
- Current CPR (BCLS) certification
- Minimum of 16 hours structured education in mammography and completion of 25 supervised mammograms
- Preferred: One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist/Mammographer
- Perform diagnostic mammography and assist with needle localizations
- Ensure correct patient information and organized work area
- Support radiologists with procedures and maintain supplies
- Attend to patient care needs and miscellaneous duties as assigned
