Radiology Technologist

Role Overview

Seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic exams in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role involves working closely with healthcare providers to deliver timely and accurate imaging services, ensuring patient safety through proper identification, positioning, radiation protection, and infection control practices.

Key responsibilities include reviewing images for quality, documenting procedures, and utilizing radiology equipment and information systems to support efficient workflow and quality outcomes. The candidate should demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to provide exceptional patient care and collaborate effectively with the care team.

Qualifications & Skills

• ARRT(R) certification and state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred 1-2 years of radiology experience, especially in high-volume outpatient or urgent care settings
• IV Certification is a plus
  
  

Physical & Additional Requirements

• Ability to see, read, and operate equipment, and assist with patient transfers
• Manual dexterity for manipulating delicate equipment
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and bending, including moving heavy items and assisting patients in crowded environments
