Radiologic Technologist
Role: Perform radiological procedures independently, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. Assist physicians and radiologists in special procedures, and operate various imaging equipment, including portable x-ray and C-arm in surgery.
Responsibilities: Conduct x-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging on inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients. Transport patients, process and forward films, and discuss findings with physicians. Maintain supplies, troubleshoot equipment, and support departmental workflows. Participate in peer interviews, departmental orientation, and assist in ongoing projects.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with valid state licensure. Demonstrated ability to perform procedures with minimal supervision and possess good judgment.
Skills: Technical proficiency with imaging equipment, patient transport, teamwork, problem-solving, and adherence to safety and departmental protocols. Ability to handle multiple tasks and support staff as needed.
