Role And Responsibilities
Provides nursing care within scope of practice to meet patient needs, adhering to standards, physician orders, policies, and regulations.
Demonstrates knowledge of infection control and participates in quality improvement programs.
Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
Communicates patient status changes to relevant departments.
Conducts patient and family education.
Administers medications and treatments timely and according to policies.
Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders, when permitted by the Nurse Practice Act.
Participates in physician rounds as needed.
Qualifications And Skills
