Key Responsibilities
- Dispense and review prescriptions, interpret medication orders, and manage drug therapies.
- Support patient care through consultations, immunizations, and wellness services, addressing patient concerns and resolving issues.
- Assist with centralized support functions like patient registration and issue resolution, both in-person and virtually.
- Contribute to team development, promote teamwork, and support training initiatives.
- Analyze performance data and oversee pharmacy operations including inventory management and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain relationships with healthcare providers, ensure accurate communication, and clarify prescriptions.
- Stay current with pharmacy systems, technology, and industry trends, including processing insurance claims and participating in community outreach.
- Drive continuous improvement in pharmacy services, ensure adherence to legal and safety standards, and seek professional development.
- BS in Pharmacy or equivalent degree, with a valid pharmacist license.
- Experience in prescription dispensing, knowledge of controlled substance laws, and familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
- Willingness to work in diverse environments and travel as needed.
