Role: Client Intake Coordinator – Emergency Department
Responsibilities: Serve as the first contact for emergency clients, gather patient information with empathy, triage cases, document medical histories, assist with patient intake, coordinate with veterinary teams, accurately enter service charges, prepare exam rooms, communicate updates to clients, support shift transitions, and contribute to efficient hospital operations.
Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of veterinary experience (preferably in emergency or specialty settings), strong understanding of veterinary terminology, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment, physical ability to lift 40 pounds, and a collaborative attitude. Bilingual skills are a plus.
