What You'll Do
As a Utility Worker, you will support daily dining operations by ensuring dishware, equipment, and kitchen spaces are clean, sanitized, and ready for use. You will also assist with food prep and help maintain smooth workflow in the kitchen.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scraping, rinsing, loading, and unloading dishes and utensils from the dishwasher
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the dish room and equipment
- Keeping a continuous supply of clean dishware available for service
- Assisting with food preparation tasks, including basic prep such as vegetable preparation
- Supporting food storage, restocking, and inventory practices using FIFO guidelines
- Maintaining sanitation logs, food temperature records, and cleaning schedules
- Sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and completing routine and deep cleaning tasks
- Assisting with meal delivery and supporting team operations as needed
- Following all food safety, infection control, and workplace safety procedures

Required qualifications:
- Valid Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work a consistent schedule and maintain regular attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment

Pay range, depending on experience: $16.00 to $20.75 per hour depending on experience.
