What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper - Full-time - 7am-3:30pm position at Menno-Haven Inc?
Menno Haven is seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team! The Groundskeeper will be responsible for general grounds and maintenance work that includes but is not limited to: grass cutting, landscaping, weeding, and pest control and event set-ups. This role will have interaction with residents, guests and team members of Menno Haven. The Groundskeeper should have general knowledge and experience in grounds keeping along with familiarity of regulations pertaining to the use of herbicides and pesticides.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance
- Knowledge of pesticides and herbicides
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance
- Positive attitude and good customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must be available to assist with snow removal

Shift:
- 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Summer hours switch to 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Snow removal hours as needed
