Exciting Opportunity at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center: Join the Prasad Adusumilli Lab as a Research Technician! Research technicians in the Adusumilli Lab are integral to projects that bridge immunology, cancer biology, and clinical translation. You will help generate the data behind novel CAR T-cell and immunotherapy approaches aimed at improving outcomes for patients with thoracic malignancies.

Role Overview:

• Laboratory Support: Prepare and maintain lab equipment, instruments, solutions, stains, assays, and other essential supplies.
• Techniques & Assays: Perform specialized techniques, such as cell culture, viral production, T-cell cultures, PCR, Western Blotting, DNA extraction.
• Animal Handling: Conduct animal studies, including injections, tissue/fluids collection, and animal autopsies.
• Data Management: Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and provide insights to the research team.
• Collaboration: Assist peers and researchers with ongoing projects, fostering a team-oriented, supportive environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology/life sciences.
• Experience with cell culture viral production, T-cell cultures, PCR, Western Blotting, DNA extraction.

• Attention to detail and strong record-keeping habits.
• Ability to follow protocols while troubleshooting when needed.
• Team-oriented approach to supporting postdocs and fellow researchers.
• Adaptability in a dynamic lab environment.
