ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

Position-Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Infusion based IV and oral therapy, some chemotherapy.
- Monitoring patients receiving IV infusions, including pre infusion triage.
- Recognize and address patient’s psychological and physical needs.
- Reviewing patient labs for appropriateness of therapy.
- Able to perform full patient assessment along with proper documentation.
- Able to use safety devices as prescribed by organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Actively participates in departmental and organizational performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Strives to uphold regulatory requirements to ensure continual compliance with departmental, hospital, state, and federal regulations and policies.
- Follows policies and procedures for infection control, safety, and risk management to ensure a safe environment for patients, the public, and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions with a valid driver’s license).
- Must be able to legally work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
- Must complete employee health meeting.
Required Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Unencumbered RN License/Certification
- Obtain Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card within 90 days of hire.
- BLS certification (AHA).
Experience:
- Infusion experience (preferred)
- Chemotherapy experience (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a comparable setting (preferred)
Salary : $34 - $50
