REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION LEVEL: |
High school diploma |
|
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: |
Refer to physical demand summary. Post-offer drug screening and physical (funded by the District) required prior to starting position. |

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: |
Vocational training desirable in chef’s training or any associate degree program in a related field. Valid South Dakota driver’s license. Ability to lift 50 pounds. |
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
- Prepares cooked foods such as main dishes, vegetables, sauces and gravies.
- Keeps production records for preparation and serving of all food used.
- Washes all small equipment after completion of task and in accordance with South Dakota sanitation and health guidelines.
- Adjusts recipes for varying quantities.
- Keeps work area clean with guidelines of South Dakota sanitation health regulations.
- Stores leftover food according to proper storage and safety procedures.
- Evaluates menu items for product standards.
- Follows safety procedures in the use of all equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

PAY INFORMATION
Level GX, starting at $19.59 per hour - click HERE to view the salary schedule.
Pay Day: Last working day of each month.
HOURS & FTE
Monday through Friday, 6:15 am to 2:15 pm with a working lunch
1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, 9 months
