What are the responsibilities and job description for the ER Admissions Representative position at MEMORIAL HOSPITAL OF CARBON COUNTY?
Responsible for timely and accurate patient registration. Interviews patients for all pertinent account information and verifies insurance coverage. Responsible for analyzing needs of patient, visitor and vendor and directing them to the appropriate department or individual hospital personnel. Answer incoming switchboard telephone calls and the transfer of calls to the appropriate individual. May be required to handle clinical duties as needed.
