The Division of Orthopedic Surgery at Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary group of orthopedic specialists delivering comprehensive, leading-edge care in the subspecialties of orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, joint replacement, and hand surgery.
Position Overview
The selected Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will primarily be based at the Cypress Creek Fort Lauderdale office location, supporting several orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians. Responsibilities will include evaluating and managing post-operative patients with a possibility of developing a new patient and / or injection clinic. This role is primarily office-based but also includes inpatient responsibilities, typically one day a week, at our Level 1 trauma center at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, to include:

- Conducting orthopedic consultations on ER / trauma patients
- Preparing patients for surgery in collaboration with the Trauma and Medicine teams
- Rounding on post-operative patients and non-surgical consults
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or Master's equivalent) from an ARC-PA accredited program with current PA Certification, OR
- National Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current or eligible for Florida licensure at the time of hire
