Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages children to express themselves.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a productive classroom atmosphere.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents on their progress.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to ensure a healthy learning environment.
- Incorporate first aid practices as needed to ensure the safety of all children in your care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Experience in Childcare settings or similar roles such as babysitting, nannying, or childcare is highly desirable.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage children effectively.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred or must be obtained upon hiring.
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and the community to support children's learning needs.
- A nurturing demeanor with patience and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
