Job Title: Equipment Operators (2 Positions)

Location: Laredo, TX

Project Duration: 2 Months

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with weekend availability as needed (Overtime available)

Position Overview

MEMCO is seeking two (2) skilled Equipment Operators to support a 2-month project in Laredo, TX. One of these positions must be an experienced Excavator Operator with proven ability to safely operate on active construction sites. Candidates must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

Excavator Operator (1 Position)

• Safely operate excavators for trenching, grading, backfilling, and utility installation
• Excavate around existing utilities with caution and precision
• Support pipelaying crew and general site operations
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections
• Maintain proper safety procedures at all times

General Equipment Operator (1 Position)

• Operate various construction equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, loaders, or rollers
• Assist with earthwork, material movement, and jobsite support
• Perform basic equipment inspections and report any issues
• Support crew with labor tasks as needed

Requirements

• Must have a clean background (client requirement)
• Minimum 1–2 years of equipment operating experience; Excavator Operator must have verifiable experience
• Ability to work safely around underground utilities and active crews
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must be dependable with reliable transportation
• Availability for weekend work and overtime when required
