What are the responsibilities and job description for the DOOR / HARDWARE INSTALLER position at Memco?
Memco Spring is currently seeking experienced Install Associates with 3–5 years of construction or installation experience to join our growing field team. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, skilled with tools, and comfortable working in fast-paced commercial construction environments.
Responsibilities
● Install decorative metal and glass railing systems according to project specifications and company standards
● Read and interpret shop drawings, field measurements, and installation layouts
● Ensure all installations meet quality and safety requirements
● Load, unload, organize, and transport materials and tools safely
● Maintain clean and organized job sites
● Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures
● Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other construction equipment safely
● Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and installation crews
● Help maintain project schedules and installation deadlines
Qualifications
● 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction, railing installation, metal fabrication, or a related field
● Experience with architectural metal or glass railing systems preferred
● Ability to read construction drawings and measurements
● Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
● Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
● OSHA certification is a plus
● Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
