Job Overview:
We are seeking a Foreman with proven Concrete and Masonry experience to lead crews and manage daily operations. The Concrete Foreman will be responsible for driving safe production, maintaining high‑quality workmanship, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong technical knowledge and the ability to coordinate crews, equipment, and materials effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) meetings and jobsite safety briefings
- Inspect tools, equipment, and scaffolds to confirm they are safe for use
- Organize labor, equipment, and material needs for ongoing and upcoming work
- Monitor and document daily production quantities (SF, CY, LF, etc.)
- Work closely with the Project Manager to forecast and plan work 2–3 weeks ahead
- Confirm all concrete and masonry work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and standards
- Perform routine field reviews to verify workmanship and accuracy
- Monitor high‑risk or detail‑critical scopes to ensure precision and consistency
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience in concrete and/or masonry
- Established experience managing construction teams and directing daily operations
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil construction plans
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience operating or overseeing use of concrete-related equipment (Skid steers, loaders, forklifts, telehandlers, etc.)
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- A pre-employment Drug Screening is required
