This position is for our Warehouse in Blountsville, AL

The Warehouse Lead backs-up the Warehouse Supervisor in all aspects of the efficient management and operations of the Warehouse. The Warehouse Lead must be able to perform the various functions in the warehouse and personally fill any position due to absence of an employee. The Lead position must have hands on experience and knowledge of facility, inventory, and transportation management processes.
Provide Exceptional Customer Service
Actively Maintain and Promote a positive company image and culture is critical to maintaining a positive image with our customers and suppliers. It is imperative that a positive working environment be present in all day-to day activities in all departments.
- Create an environment throughout the facility that every order and delivery must meet and exceed customer.
- Use all tools provided to satisfy customer needs, going above and beyond expectations and communicating customer concerns directly to Warehouse Manager/Supervisor.
Inventory Management Utilize Standard Operating Procedures and GDP manual for every incoming and outgoing.
- Efficiently use all tools provided to ensure inventory accuracy including but not limited to cycle counts, bin and labeling requirements, and order/receipt double checks.
- Be able to adequately use the company's computerized inventory software system.
Be able to receive product based on our "Purchasing Order Receiving SOP" and all BRC guidelines from the point of the delivery truck backing to the dock through being received into Temporary Receiving
Facility Management
- Operate the warehouse and facility following all safety guidelines and legal statutes. Maintain facility compliance with OSHA and BRC guidelines and all company policies.
- Meet all equipment maintenance schedules and make sure all equipment is in safe working order.
Personnel Management
· Work with the Warehouse Supervisor regarding warehouse personnel within company and legal guidelines and by partnering with the Supervisor and Human Resources where needed.
· In absence of the Supervisor work to maintain adequate warehouse employee schedule so that all shifts have appropriate coverage and routes are manned at direction of branch supervisor.
· Maintain knowledge of all positions to step in where needed in case of absences or position openings.
· Responsible for training for all warehouse positions at the discretion of the Branch Supervisor.
Inventory Management
· Maintain inventory accuracy using company and warehouse Standard Operating Procedures and processes for every incoming and outgoing item.
· Efficiently use all tools provided to ensure inventory accuracy including but not limited to cycle counts, bin and labeling requirements, and order/receipt double checks.
· Be able to adequately use and train on the company's computerized inventory software system.
Actively Maintain and Promote a Positive Company Image and Culture.
· Maintenance and Promotion of a Positive Company Image is critical to branch success. Professional attire, actions, and policies are critical to maintaining a positive image to our customers and suppliers. It is also critical to set an example for the rest of the Branch Team Members. It is imperative that a positive working environment be present in all day-today activities in all departments.

Putaway
Be able to Putaway product based on our "Group Putaway SOP" and all BRC guidelines from the point of picking product up from temporary bins through the point of placing in the warehouse bin accurately and safely.
Picking
Be able to Pick product based on our "Order Picking SOP" and all BRC guidelines from the point of picking product up from a warehouse bin through the point of placing product in a staging lane for double check.
Shipping
Be able to Ship product based on our "Order Shipment Confirmation SOP" and/or our "Creating a Delivery List SOP" and all BRC guidelines from the point of double checking product in the staging lanes through the product being in transit to the customer.
Job Specifications
Education: High School graduate or GED.
Experience: Prefer shipping/receiving, and scheduling experience.
Skills: Attention to detail is critical. Inventory control, interpreting measurements, following verbal and written instructions, listening to and interacting with others (co-workers and supervisors).
Knowledge/Ability: Experience in computers, forklift, pallet jacks, and two-wheeled dollies. English Language Required
Physical Requirements
This position requires ability to read Alphanumeric text, distinguish by sight and touch marginal differences in dimensions, manual dexterity of both hands, occasional sitting for long periods of time, occasional standing for long periods of time, twisting and bending from a standing position, and lifting, occasionally up to 75 lbs.
Working Environment
All aspects of this job is performed in an industrial, warehouse setting with exposure to weather elements, such as extreme heat and cold as per season.

Pay Range
The pay range applied will be based on your experience.
