Job Summary:
The CNC Operator/Machinist is responsible for manufacturing parts to specification in an accurate and timely manner using CNC machining centers and manual machining equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate Haas CNC vertical machining centers as required
- Demonstrate proficiency in CNC programming, including understanding G-code and M-code, and working knowledge of off-line programming software
- Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and CNC/NC program readouts to ensure accurate machining and proper tooling setup
- Perform machine and tooling setups efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Prepare mills, drills, and/or lathes for upcoming jobs while current jobs are running to maximize productivity
- Perform secondary operations such as deburring, inspection, and cleaning during machine cycle time
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications
- Apply mathematical skills, including basic arithmetic as well as geometric, algebraic, and trigonometric calculations, to support machining operations
- Collaborate regularly with manufacturing engineers to identify opportunities for tooling, fixturing, and process improvements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- An associate’s degree or equivalent is preferred
- Technical training or certification in machining or a related field is preferred
- Experience with Haas CNC machines strongly preferred
- Knowledge of CNC programming, including G-code and M-code
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
