Front of House Manager
Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers is locally owned and operated.
Our business is getting busier and we are looking to add another manager to the team!
Mellow Mushroom is a fun, cool, laid back, eclectic, full service pizza restaurant. We are looking for the next dynamic leader to join our team as a manager for one of our locations in Chesterfield. If you have manager experience, preferably at another high volume restaurant that sells, craft beer, craft cocktails and high end wines please apply. We are seeking a talented, experienced restaurant manager who have a passion for service and a desire to develop those around them. Our managers are very hands on and strive to make a difference daily to impact our business. We don't want robots. We want you to have a say in the bar and dinning area. Mellow Mushroom takes great pride in having a friendly welcoming neighborhood environment that appeals to our guests and staff. Salary is commensurate with experience and expertise. We believe in cross-training therefor all of our Managers will not be limited to the following areas of responsibility.
Job Responsibilities :
* Effectively manage restaurant and bar
* Work collaboratively with other managers
* Recruit, hire, and retain talent who fit our culture
* Build a team capable of working collaboratively with others
* Measure and reward staff performance
* Schedule and allocate labor across the restaurant/stations
* Continually improve guest service
* Bring new beer ideas to the table- We have 28-32 drafts and 50 different bottles and cans. Craft beer knowledge a plus. Wine knowledge a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Ability to create memorable experiences and lasting connections with guests
* Familiarity with ALOHA POS systems
* Experience with ordering and inventory management
* Understanding of sales goals, production pars, and quality control
* Charismatic and courteous with clientele and staff
* Proven ability to lead, coach a team
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Understanding of Inventory

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
