Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts with attention to detail and quality.
• Support cake decorating efforts by applying icing, and decorative elements to create visually appealing treats.
• Help with food production tasks including mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently.
• Package finished products carefully to maintain freshness and presentation for retail or catering purposes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards.
• Handle food safely by following proper hygiene practices and handling procedures at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and assisting with orders when needed.
• Experience with bread making is a plus.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation is highly desirable.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques used in pastry and food production.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures within the food industry.
• Experience working in a kitchen environment such as a bakery, restaurant, or catering setting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with a positive attitude and team spirit.
