What We’re Looking For
We are seeking talented, driven Math Teachers with a passion for education and a strong aptitude for teaching in group and one-on-one settings. Teachers can expect to guide students ranging from grades 4 to 12. Paid training and orientation provided.
Part-time and full-time positions are available, but all teachers start part-time. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications after completing our base-rate training.

About the Role:
Responsibilities
- Understand and learn MEK Curriculum standards.
- Develop MEK material to be utilized in classroom sessions.
- Prepare and implement teaching strategies, assess student progress toward mastery.
- Hone key math concepts, critical thinking, and problem-solving strategies to succeed in both admissions testing and AP exams.
- Lead and manage efficient classes and sessions in group or one-on-one settings.
- Work with students to perfect analytical skills and practice problem solving habits to produce stronger test scores and faster problem-solving ability.
- Create a lively learning experience through MEK Curriculum, strategic instruction and effective use of teaching tools and platforms.
- Have a team player mindset, with an enthusiasm for coordinating efforts with fellow teachers.
- Develop rapport with, motivate, and inspire students toward excellence in their learning experience.
Education and Experience:
- Have a four-year degree in Mathematics or STEM major
- 1 years of teaching or tutoring experience preferred
- Strong organization, prioritization, written, and verbal communication skills

Schedule & Compensation
- Regular Hours:
- Tuesday-Friday: 1:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Summer Hours:
- Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 10:30AM - 6:30PM
- Starting Rate: $30/hour (base rate after orientation)
- Orientation Compensation: Paid separately
