Role: Multibody Systems (MBS) Engineer
Location: Novi,MI
Duration: Long Term/Full Time
JD:
• Develop full vehicle ADAMS models to support:
o Engine and Electric Drive Unit (EDU) mount development studies
o Body mount development studies
o Ride comfort evaluations (using single input and various road surface profiles)
o Motion envelope creation for EDU and engine systems under various load conditions.
• Maintain and update existing ADAMS models, incorporating changes to tire models, flexible body structures (MNF files), and road input data.
• Ensure model output aligns closely with previously established results from engineering service providers to maintain continuity for ongoing tuning and development.
• Integrate updated parameters such as bushing and mount stiffnesses, chassis parameters, and flexible bodies into the models.
• Strong experience with ADAMS modeling and simulation.
• Understanding of vehicle dynamics and vibration principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
