Position Overview
We are currently seeking a General Service Automotive Technician who holds a valid North Carolina State Inspector License (or is willing and able to obtain one). This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys hands-on work, values efficiency and accuracy, and is looking for long-term stability with a respected brand.
You will play a key role in day-to-day shop operations by performing state inspections, general maintenance, and light repair services while helping maintain a smooth and productive workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform North Carolina State Inspections accurately and in compliance with all state regulations
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and general service work, including:
- Oil changes and fluid services
- Tire repairs, replacements, and rotations
- Wheel alignments
- Brake inspections, service, and replacements
- Complete digital or written vehicle inspections as required
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle needs and repair recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all shop procedures, safety standards, and quality guidelines
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid NC State Inspector License required (or ability to obtain license promptly)
- Prior experience as a General Service or Lube Technician preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Must have personal tools necessary to perform job duties
- Strong multitasking, time-management, and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
