Automotive Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, including passenger cars and light trucks.
• Diagnose issues with automotive electrical systems, engines, transmissions, and other components.
• Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and align components accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, utilizing hand tools effectively.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs, repairs performed, and recommendations for future maintenance.
• Keep detailed records of services performed on each vehicle.

Experience

• Proven experience in automotive service and repair is required.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools is essential.
• Strong customer service skills are necessary to interact effectively with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
