Position Purpose:
The Receptionist will provide professional administrative support. In this role it is necessary that you enjoy managing diverse responsibilities, make well-reasoned decisions about prioritizing responsibilities, and have a passion to learn and develop with the company. The candidate must understand and utilize office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes, printers and scanners. This position requires dependability, approachability, self-motivation and a commitment to hard work.
Job Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred
Essential Responsibilities:
- Greets visitors, customers, answer/screen/route telephone calls, files, and performs other general clerical duties
- Must maintain professionalism and provide courteous, helpful, and prompt attention to all parties with which they interact
- Responsible for data entry
- Must manage time to meet deadlines
- Know, support, and enforce company policies
- Assist with coordination of event planning
- All other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications/Skills:
- Computer based skills including Office365 and Google Suite
- Knowledge of transportation industry is a plus
- Ability to communicate well with others
- Ability to transfer knowledge
- Above average writing skills and organizational skills
- Positive attitude
- Ability to take direction from managers
