Key responsibilities
- User support: Provide first-level technical assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person to resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix technical issues, ensuring systems and applications are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Installation and maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network devices.
- System updates: Perform routine updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure security and performance.
- Help desk management: Manage and resolve help desk tickets within established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
- Network and security: Assist with network monitoring and security protocols, including managing user accounts and access permissions.
Additional duties
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on larger projects and initiatives.
- Assist with backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Conduct user training on new software and systems.
- Monitor system logs for security breaches and unauthorized access.
Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
