School Bus Monitor
2025-2026 School Year
Position Summary: Cooperates with driver in a mutually responsible manner to insure the safe transportation of all students on the bus including to behavior needs, medical and physical needs.
Qualifications:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of job-related prior experience, preferred
- First Aid and CPR training required
Essential Job Functions include the following:
- Assisting driver in loading and unloading of students. Including walking students onto the school bus and operation of wheelchair lift equipment and tiedown.
- Monitoring behavior of student on the bus.
- Apply school recommended interaction techniques when necessary to maintain order and safety.
- Performs health care procedures to assist identified students
- Other duties may be assigned
COMPENSATION FOR EXPERIENCE IS CONSIDERED, 2025-2026 Classified Salary Schedule
